Charter Hosts U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren & Lynn Mayor Jared Nicholson at Lynn HarborPark Site

On Friday, Charter had the pleasure of hosting U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Lynn Mayor Jared Nicholson, and other public officials who met to celebrate and plan out a $500,000 Reconnecting Communities and Neighborhoods Grant that will be used to reimagine infrastructure in the city.

Charter’s involvement in Lynn began with completing an initial waterfront land assemblage, remediating contaminated parcels and implementing a cap repair project at the former Lynn Landfill. We’re now underway with Phase II of this initiative, focusing on transforming the capped landfill into a signature waterfront park, providing the Lynn community with much needed waterfront access and open space.

We’re so proud to have played a part in the realization of parts of the Lynn Waterfront Open Space Master Plan. Our journey in Lynn has been defined by dedication and collaboration, so we’re excited to see the momentum and optimism from so many public officials around furthering infrastructure development throughout the city and its waterfront.
