WIC Week 2024: Celebrating Women at Charter, Lisa Arseneault

This week, while taking the time to honor and celebrate the contributions of the women in our industry, we’d like to highlight some of the exceptional women at Charter, giving some insight into their roles and career paths, and showcasing the strength and knowledge of women in industry, in alignment with this year’s WIC Week theme, “Keys to Success.”

Today, we’re shining a spotlight on Lisa Arseneault, Charter’s Preconstruction Manager, who, despite not having a background in the construction industry, has made an extraordinary impact.

With an undergraduate degree in corporate communications, Lisa embarked on a diverse career journey, initially exploring roles in marketing and advertising. However, it was her stint at a national engineering firm, working in the marketing group, where she discovered her interest in the intricacies of the construction industry.

Over the years, Lisa’s curiosity and dedication led her to expand her expertise, embracing new responsibilities and the complexities of the industry. Joining Charter eight years ago, Lisa has since become an indispensable asset in her role as Preconstruction Manager. Her responsibilities are multifaceted, ranging from tracking new leads and managing internal action items to facilitating the seamless transition of projects from preconstruction to execution.

As a liaison between various internal teams, including Estimating, Proposal, Business Development, and external clients, Lisa plays a pivotal role in orchestrating the pursuit of new opportunities for Charter. Her ability to think quickly on her feet and devise innovative solutions for the challenges that arise with each project is truly commendable.

Reflecting on her role at Charter, Lisa shares, “I enjoy the dynamic nature of my work, where I’m constantly presented with new challenges that require creative problem-solving. Being integrated with Charter’s diverse internal teams allows me to collaborate with a variety of different groups in unique ways.”

Thank you, Lisa, for your invaluable contributions to our team!
